Technology With UBC's Trek Program
Feb. 15, 16 & 17, 2011
"Tech With Trek"

During the 2011 University of British Columbia's Reading Week, forty-five UBC students will be donating their time to promote computer technology at our school. These university students will work directly with Kindergarten to grade 7 Lord Beaconsfield's students to create individual computer based projects. These projects will be planned by our teachers and will range from science reports to creative writing stories. Each class will display their work through this website to create an "Online Open House. Please check us out at the Prezi link below. Welcome to historic Lord Beaconsfield Elementary School, located steps from beautiful Trout Lake and the Nanaimo Skytrain Station in East Vancouver.
We offer a wonderful education experience for 220 students from kindergarten through to grade seven.  We pride ourselves on providing a warm, safe, caring atmosphere for all our students coupled with high expectations for conduct and academic achievement.  We recognize the importance of family, friendships and community.
